Suntan Hawaii was founded in 1976 in the Hawaiian Islands by James A. Cutchin, President & CEO. Our corporate mission was to create a high quality tanning and sun care line.

We used the tropical conditions of Hawaii as our testing grounds. And, the Hawaiian hotel and travel industry as our marketing vehicle. Our hotel and resort program was proven successful within 18 months.

Suntan Hawaii's increasing popularity and reputation for quality began reaching the tour and convention industry. Suntan Hawaii has been the product of choice at many of the nation's largest conventions.
